Privacy Policy

Calendar Nudge ("the app", "we") is a personal alarm app for iPhone operated by Matt Moglia. This policy explains what information the app uses, why, and what we do with it.

What we collect and why

How Google user data is used

Calendar data is used only to compute and deliver the alarms you asked for. We store a short-lived copy of upcoming events in memory on our server while computing alarms, and a record of which alarms were sent (event ID and time) for up to two days so an alarm doesn't ring twice. We do not store the full content of your calendar.

Calendar Nudge's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data to serve advertisements, and we do not allow humans to read it except with your explicit permission, for security purposes, or as required by law.

What we don't do

Service providers

Data retention and deletion

Your settings and device token are kept while your account exists. Sent-alarm records are deleted automatically after two days. You can revoke the app's access to your Google Calendar at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately stops all calendar reading. To delete your account and all data we hold, email matt.moglia@gmail.com from the address you signed in with; we delete it within 30 days.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with access limited to the operator. Google access tokens are held by Clerk and are never stored on your device or in our database.

Children

Calendar Nudge is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and note the change in the app.
